The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative and project support for the HR Operations team, including HRIS entry, record-keeping and employee file maintenance.  This position is also responsible for conducting all pre-hire background checks and new hire onboarding and ensuring a high quality employee experience upon hire.  This position also provides general administrative support as needed for the HR team.

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Serves as the receptionist for the HR office suite and answers questions and directs employees to the appropriate resource when necessary.
  • Participates in HR Operations projects and other projects as directed.
  • Supports initiatives tied to employee engagement.
  • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Ensures I-9 forms are compliant for Clinical Skills Evaluation Center (C-SEC) local hires.  Partners with Center Managers as needed to resolve questions, issues, etc. 
  • Coordinates new hire paperwork, delivers new hire orientations and serves as first day ambassador for new hires.
  • Responsible for data entry in appropriate data bases.
  • Maintains HR process and procedures documents.
  • Provides support in preparing all annual EEO filing and other required government reporting.
  • Updates and maintains training materials developed by the HR team
  • Reconciles monthly statements for the HR purchasing credit card
  • Maintains invoice tracking for the HR department
  • Responsible for verifications of employment
  • Completes unemployment requests
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by HR leaders.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
  • Scans and files documents into appropriate employee files and ensures that employee files are properly documented.
  • Prepares new-employee files and maintains files. Purges files for termed employees.
  • Processes mail.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least two years related experience required.
  • SHRM-CP credential preferred.
