ECFMG is seeking a Regional Coordinator in the Philadelphia, PA office. The Regional Coordinator is accountable for ensuring accurate, complete and current information associated with institutions with which ECFMG conducts business.  The Regional Coordinator researches and communicates with medical schools, government officials, hospitals, and other organizations, institutions and agencies about issues related to medical education, post-graduate medical education, and medical licensing.  The coordinator serves as a subject matter expert for all topics related to medical education, post-graduate training and licensing for a specified region of the world. 

In addition, the individual acts as the primary liaison to the institutions in that region and is responsible for maintaining the ECFMG Medical Education Credentials Reference Library and acts as a resource for ECFMG staff in regard to all aspects of the relationship between ECFMG and the institutions in the specified region.   The coordinator is responsible for the daily workflow associated with the administration of the ECFMG Medical School Web Portal (EMSWP). The coordinator assists with development of requirements and procedures for new department initiatives, and assists in training staff in credentials and medical education, and ECFMG processes.

  • PC proficient in various programs
  • Foreign language required in one of the following languages: Mandarin, or a major European language

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of four years of professional level experience in an academic, public health, or healthcare setting performing market based research. Experience with customer relationship management preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, master's degree preferred.
