ECFMG is seeking a Salesforce Developer I in the Philadelphia PA office.

A self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, and responsible team player, the Salesforce Developer I will utilize various technologies for the development and maintenance of software applications and services designed to provide the functionality needed by the enterprise to accomplish required business functions. Passionate about building high-quality systems utilizing software implementation best practices, the Salesforce Developer I will work as part of a co-located team and use their professional experience to develop solutions utilizing Scrum and other Agile techniques. They will contribute to an experienced and energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.  The Salesforce Developer I will be exposed to all facets of the Agile software development lifecycle and will be expected to adapt quickly to an existing and complex environment.

DUTIES

  • Develops basic understanding of operational business functions
  • Performs basic programming and configuration functions by partnering with other members of the team
  • Assists in analyzing and revising existing software as needed
  • Designs, codes, tests, documents and debugs new and existing applications
  • Adheres to the SDLC standards
  • Writes and executes unit tests
  • Tests software written by other developers on the team
  • Follows policies and procedures established by ECFMG
  • Assists in researching and finding solutions by using the web and via interaction with other developers, and gains a full understanding of how a potential solution works
  • Improves skills and abilities by participating in training, seminars, and conferences
  • Assists in development of deployment packages and provides support for promoting deployments through environments as needed
  • Participates in technical design discussions
  • Participates in story pointing and task estimation efforts
  • Helps to break down user stories into development and testing tasks
  • Participates in all scrum ceremonies
  • Updates system of record with work item history and hours spent on each assigned task
  • Completes timesheets and submits for approval
  • Follows security standards as established by ECFMG IT
  • Maintains the confidentiality of ECFMG / FAIMER / CSEC information
  • Protects Personally Identifiable Information
  • Other duties as assigned by IT management

EXPERIENCE

1 to 2 years of experience in the following:

  • Experience in Cloud / SaaS technologies, API integration work in a multi-tenant environment
  • Experience in creating user interface screens including support for all major browsers and mobile form factors
  • Familiar with RESTful services, SOAP services, able to manipulate and consume data formatted as XML and JSON
  • Knowledge of Visualforce controllers and Apex coding
  • Proficient in developing Workflows on the Lightning platform
  • Proficient in automating processes using Lightning Process Builder
  • Understands Entity (Object) Relationships and how to implement them in Salesforce, via lookups, master-detail and custom junctions. Able to create queries using SOQL
  • Able to design and configure security/sharing rules, permission sets, field level security, record level security, roles and profiles
  • Familiar with any JavaScript technologies like Node, Angular, REACT
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce Platform and its architecture
  • Familiar with Salesforce case management

Or has 1 to 2 years of experience in the following:

  • Successfully released apps on the App Store and/or Google Play
  • Experience with Ionic Framework / Cordova/PhoneGap / Angular 2 preferred
  • Experience with responsive web design is required
  • Experience coding applications for either the Android or iOS platforms

2 to 4 years of experience in the following:

  • Experience in supporting live production systems environment including pushing changes to production
  • Experience using source code controls like TFS, GitHub, BitBucket, etc
  • Experience in one or more of the following: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, XML/XSL, SQL, XAML, ADO.NET
  • Understanding of n-tier architectures (UI, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer)
  • Experienced in working with relational databases, normalization concepts, triggers, functions, and procedures. Able to read and understand ER diagrams
  • Familiar with principles of application development enterprise patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Liberal Arts, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience, is required
  • Certifications demonstrating knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies a plus
